The men’s crew managed a great win at IM2 against Wellbeck school in the eight, and narrowly missed out on a win in the IM3 four.
Fantastic results with Salford’s Lightweight pair reaching the final and narrowly missing out on the medals.
Following on from the women’s success the men’s crew pulled out their best result ever placing 247th, 107 places higher than they started.

A FANTASTIC result for our women’s crew who finsihed 184th.
BUCS Beginner & Championship Head 2010
SUBC sent 6 crews down to Peterborough including a CM4+, BW4+ and BM4+ as well as IM8+ and WI8+. A successful but cold weekend with all crews being competitive in their respective divisions!
Warrington Head of the Mersey 2010
Having completed training camp, SUBC’s men’s crew sent two coxed fours to compete at Warrington in preparation for BUCS Head in two weeks time. Two fantastic wins in both IM3 and Nov.
Liverpool Victoria Head of the Float 2009
Competing against other universities, Liverpool Victoria was the first race for the new freshers. This was a good test for them competing against the new freshers from Liverpool and Chester University.
Agecroft Small Boats Head 2009
A new semester and with all the fresher intake the senior members of SUBC took to the water to demonstrate how they do it best. Entering both WIM3 4+ and a men’s IM2 and IM3 4+ they came away with good results which could be built upon throughout the forthcoming year.
North of England Sprint Championships 2009
The same crew who trained and raced throughout the summer finished off their regatta season with two solid results. IM2 4+ 2nd and IM3 4+ 2nd.

The Men’s Crew followed up their great Saturday result by making the final again in the IM3 4+ and coming 3rd.

SUBC took an IM3 4+ a N1x and an IM2 2- to Peterborough. They had competitive races in the single and pair but gained their best performance of the summer by winning their heat in the four and narrowly coming 2nd in the final.
