Racing is what it is all about. It is an awesome feeling when you are sitting at the start line of a race waiting to put all the training into good use. Salford takes part in a number of races around the U.K. every year. Our competition can range from one opposition (Manchester University) in the Two Cities Boat Race, to over four hundred other crews at the Head of the River Race in London.

Racing is for everyone in the club, it is not only the top crews who will be sent to races. Every race is an amazing experience which you will never forget and is more than anything else a super day out of normal University life!
